朝鲜拥有一些世界上最为壮观的建筑[22P]
一个穷兵黩武、民不聊生的封闭式国家却有着一些令人叹为观止的建筑物。德国建筑师Philip Meuser在他所著的《平壤的建筑和文化》一书中将目光投向世界上最隐秘的国家之一。
Meuser在一次采访中对Dwell（Dwell 是美国著名的新型家居杂志，主要内容是国外建筑和国内设计，创刊于2000年）杂志的Aaron Britt说，“我写这部书的部分初衷是将其作为你不能去的地方的一本指导书，我想向世人展示一个真实的朝鲜，真实的平壤，而美国人却视其为谷歌街景般虚无缥缈。你可以看到全世界，但是你永远都不会真正地离开电脑。”
Meuser还指出，平壤几乎完全毁于朝鲜战争，所以大部分的建筑物是近60年建成的，它们“诠释了朝鲜建筑的历史。”
